Congratulations to our August Employee of the month Cris Sierks.
Cris is an LPN and has worked as the MDS Coordinator for the Callaway Good Life Center since 2013. She began her medical career as a C.N.A. in 1980. In 1997, Cris received her LPN license and worked as a Charge Nurse and a Travel Nurse. In 2005 she became an MDS Coordinator and is AANAC Certified.
Cris and her husband Monte live in the Dunning area on a ranch. Cris has 4 children, Sophia, Danielle, Brady and Justin. She has 9 grandchildren, 8 girls and 1 boy. She loves camping-especially with her family- fishing and spending quality time with her grandchildren.
Cris’s co-workers nominated her and said, “Cris goes above and beyond her job as MDS Coordinator. She is always there for the residents and also makes sure MDS are completed correctly to capture reimbursements. She updates Care Plans, checks on resident charting, and is always looking at interventions. Cris exceeds the expectations of her job title. She is a great team player and is always at work.”
When asked why she enjoys what she does, she said, “I enjoy working in the geriatric setting and with therapies to ensure residents maintain their highest functional level and quality of life.”
We salute Cris’s dedication to our residents and this facility. Her dedication has increased the efficiency of the facility and has improved the lives of the residents. Thank you Cris for all you do!
